Re: RIP Ken Fraser

RIP Ken. Very sad. Thoughts and prayers to Kens family and close friends. I did not know Ken personally but from his significant contribution to this forum at least, I’m certain he will be sadly missed.

Re: A Saturday Ride.

Hi Shoey, After finally getting rid of kid's sport for at least a little while and getting my weekends back (woo hoo !), I'd love to join on Saturday. The Narellan Macca's is the one on the corner of Camden Valley Way ...correct ...? (not the one in the town centre...) That's about an hour from here...

Re: Is This Tyre Sculpted?

Hi Flashpixx,

Looks premature to me as well (although I agree it's a bit hard to tell from the photo). I always run 3psi higher in both tyres (so 42 front and 45 rear - I have a 2010 Gen2) and I have not had any problems with tyres wearing earlier than expected.

Regards, Pete.

Re: Intro

Welcome Jerocheong. I'm sure you'll find lots of useful information on the forum ... I know I have. You're in Canberra ? Maybe we'll cross paths on weekend rides. I don't get quite as far as Canberra but probably half way is doable :-) Congrats on the FJR.

Regards, Pete.

Re: A Saturday Ride.

Hi Shoey, I'll keep an eye out on the forum as well ... weekend sports are coming to an end for the kids so I'm going to get both days back with any luck ! Sounds like the last ride was pretty good (albeit a bit cool) ... I'm looking forward to the next one you can organise. Glad to hear the back is...

Re: No ride

Not good to hear, Shoey ... you must have done a real job on your back this time !!

Take care, rest up. Look forward to another ride once you're up to it !

Regards, Pete.

Re: Metzler 01

Hi Farkleit, I have the 01's on my 2010 Gen2. Have done about 5,000k on them so far. I run a bit higher pressures in both but no evidence of flat spot in the centre yet. Don't do much riding in the wet but in all other conditions (round town, freeway, B roads) - I've found them to be excellent. Very...

Aarrgghh and once again I miss out [emoji30]

90th birthday Sat and then work all day Sun means yet again no ride for me [emoji30]

Keep them coming though Ernie. This one looks a treat and I'll definitely make sure I'm free for the next !!

Re: Mothers Day Ride.

Hi Shoey, If it wasn't mothers day I would certainly come with you ... did the trip up to Wollombi last weekend which was terrific but ran out of time to come back via the Putty Road or even Wiseman's ... Not likely to get anywhere near the bike this weekend ... but post the next one you're going to...

Re: Major Software changes

I'm in also Thommo. Either just a one off contribution or as a social club kind of thing would be fine with me...
