Get back to the forum asap he replys.
If it's too expensive we'll stay somewhere else.

This is the email I got from Bellingen Motor Lodge

Hi Phil
So sorry for not getting back to you earlier
Look forward to having your group join us again in November
We can organise dinner bed and breakfast for $135.00 per person twin share
with a $55 single supplement
We would organise a hot buffet breakfast for the group both days
evening meals would be 2 set menus
We would require a minimum of 12 rooms
$500 deposit will be required to hold the booking

We look forward to having your group stay at the Bellingen Valley Lodge
we are holding 15 rooms currently
Please let me know if you need anything further

So, $270 for two people in a double room with dinner and breakfast times 2, that's how I read it!
You can ask when you book?
I will confirm with the author of the email, cheers

that's a better price.

Bellingen sounds like "Dodge City" they way they hijack the prices.

OK I know I'm dragging up a old post, but someone will have to get a piece of 4x2 and bash it into my head :angry-banghead: so, a room for 2 people for 2 nights plus 2 breakfast and 2 dinners will be $270 per person = $540 all up for 2 people :confusion-helpsign:

Just wondering if this year's even is still on and whether or not a better priced accommodation has been considered? I'm interested in joining but the last posted price is a bit too rich for me, that's a lot of gas money to spend on sleeping

Bellingen is a bit of a trendy spot,
only one Motel. (that is why it's so expensive)

This motel was once great !!!
But my last trip there was my last,
we booked a table to eat dinner, only about 20 people in there,
and were told they only had one steak, one fish & something else :snooty:
I used to look forward to eating at this place, it had the best steak I have ever had.

There is a pub in town,
It has great beer & food,
the motel is 1 km from town
pub rooms & some with toilet & shower (I'm told.)

Dorrigo up the road half hour has a great old pub with big rooms,
they have rooms that have 5 beds in them if ya want to go real cheap & share.
