I got the last ones in Hervey Bay in 2008 bout 3 weeks before the moto gp. They are good for helping prevent deep vein thrombosis that the good lady has trouble with. Cheers, Alan.

 Re: Aldi
When Aldi had the ski sale about two months back, I bought their ski socks and find them excellent with the motorcycle boots. They look the same style as these motorcycle socks and cost the same.

 Re: Aldi
Went down to the local Aldi this morning.. heaps of everything they had in brochure.. helmets look like the price .. bought 4 pairs of the socks great with boots.. had a look at the gloves and such but left the rest there.. i did buy a bike cover and opened it up to try it for size and was already ripped at the back were there is a plastic type window, so i will be back down there this arvo for an exchange.. cover looks to fit ok though wont fit with topbox on as my other one does but for 1 /6th of the price a good cover for the shed or a smaller bike.. anyone needs anything they cant get at there local give me a call my number is in the private section of forum.. cheers phil

I was thinking about one, but if it wont fit over the topbox, there's not much point in me acquiring one. Much appreciated.

 Re: Aldi
Checked out the trousers and they look well made for the price. As Bub said they have a zip up the side, although didn't try them on. Looks like they would make a cheap second pair of trousers.
Like Phil, I bought a bike cover and tried it for size and found it a bit small, so back it went for a refund.
Bought the socks as well, but I think the ski socks are better, especially for the DVT as mentioned by Tyrant.

 Re: Aldi
Went to Aldi yesterday. The jackets and pants looked good for the money, better than other brands. Nothing my size as usual.
Bought a few pairs of socks, feels good. Could be good for my DVT, like a compression sock.
